I'm Sofia Stipanov, Founder of Hamptons Mamas and proudly the mother of two gorgeous twin daughters. Being a former librarian, I speicalized in children's programs, events and activities during my professional career. After I was bless with my girls, I was in search of great programs in the Hamptons area. Soon, I realized that there were no website that truly allowed us to see the awesome programs that the Hamptons has to offer - on both the professional and academic level.

I believe children should socialize within their age group, for their developmental, and, in turn, just have some fun in the process. I hope my research on programs, events and activities, all on one website, makes some Mama's life a bite easier.

I'm a full-time mother to identical twins, Ava and Olivia (Liv) and wife to Anthony. Ava and Liv are now just shy of three years old and started their first year of Nursery School. Granted twins are a handful, I love every moment of it! I'm also an animal rights advocate, vegetarian, lover of yoga, reading, nature, long walks, living a truly green and cruelty-free lifestyle.

Hi everyone! My name is Jessica Clendenin and I am very excited to be a part of Hamptons Mamas! I used to work with Sofia in the Family Department at the Rogers Memorial Library. Throughout my 7 years there, I have assisted with various programs. I am extremely proud of the work I did for the Summer Reading Club. I was also a counselor at the S.T.A.R. Summer Camp at Southampton Public Schools for 6 years, where I re-integrated the Rogers Memorial Library Summer Reading Club Program. This was a huge success due to the fact that if a child was unable to visit the library to report on their progress, they could do so at camp. My personal goal is to attend Hunter College this Spring of 2014 for their Early Childhood Education Graduate Program, so that I can continue to help children experience as many enriching things as they can.

While I am not yet a mother, I understand the invaluable and constant job that they have to ensure a well rounded upbringing for their children. My mother, who is also my best friend, made sure to bring me to as many library programs and community events as she could find. I am sure that if the internet had existed, she would have taken full advantage of a site such as this! So my mission is to try and make life a little easier for all of you Mamas out there and make sure that you do not miss out on any of the great opportunities awaiting you and your families out there in the Hamptons!
